Sheffield FC announces new legal partnership with law firm CMS

Sheffield FC has announced a new exclusive legal partnership with CMS, bringing together two organisations with deep roots in Sheffield.

CMS will serve as Sheffield FC’s exclusive legal partner, having spent 35 years operating in the city.

Sheffield FC is widely thought to be the world’s first football club, and was first founded in 1857.

In March, Reverend and the Makers frontmn John McClure was named as the new chairman of the club, after performing arts firm IAV Holdings Limited bought a stake in it.

Speaking on the partnership with CMS, Mr McClure said: “We’re delighted to welcome CMS as our legal partner and would like to thank them for their support at a significant time for the football club.
