Tributes left at scene of horror crash which killed three people on rural Yorkshire road
Three people have died in a horror crash on a rural Yorkshire road, police have said.
Tributes have been left at the scene of the crash on Denaby Lane near Rotherham, which took the lives of a 17-year-old boy and two men aged 23 and 21.
Another 17-year-old boy escaped with minor injuries.
South Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the scene shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday (Aug 8).
The force said a grey Seat Cupra Leon was travelling in the direction of Kilnhurst when it left the carriageway and crashed.

A statement said: “Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a 17-year-old boy, and two men, aged 21 and 23, were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“Their families have been informed and are being supported by officers.
“A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“An investigation is underway and we are now asking for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash cam footage that could assist with our enquiries, to come forward.”
