It is interesting to reflect on what local life was like for folk in Yorkshire more than 80 years ago - here are some photos that give us a glimpse into the past.

Many things may have changed in 80 years but the seasons remain the same and common summer activities include a dip in the sea, stroll on the beach and fishing.
