A motorbike has been damaged after an attempted theft outside a railway station in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information about the incident outside Whitby station between 12.15am and 12.45am on Friday (August 7).
The force said the Yamaha YBR125 motorbike had its headlight smashed and the ignition barrel damaged during the attempted theft.
Officers are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact North Yorkshire Police online or by phoning 101.
