“Numerous” vehicles have been damaged after an incident in a York village, police said.
Officers are appealing for information about the “criminal damage incident” in Hawthorn Terrace, New Earswick, at 3.30am on Saturday (August 8).
North Yorkshire Police said the incident is “believed to have involved two men on push bikes”.
“Numerous vehicles in the area have been subject to criminal damage,” a police spokesperson said.
They urged anyone with information about the incident to contact North Yorkshire Police online or by phoning 101.
