A missing 15-year-old girl from a village near York has been found safe and well, police said.
Officers called off the search for the missing teenager, from Huby, on Monday (August 10) after she was located.
It came after North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal to trace her whereabouts, saying the force was "becoming increasingly concerned for her safety" after she had not been since Friday afternoon.
On Monday afternoon, police confirmed the teenager had been found.
"Earlier today we issued an appeal to help find a missing 15-year-old girl from Huby," a police spokesperson said.
"We are pleased to report that she has now been found safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
