For example, SMEs accounted for £2.8 trillion of GDP in 2025, which equates to 51 per cent of the total turnover of private businesses.
York is an incubator for small businesses and has seen a number of success stories launched from our beautiful city.
It is, therefore, only right that we celebrate their success, which The Press Business Awards has done year in, year out.
