Police are investigating after cars were apparently torched in an area of woodland.
Firefighters were called to Old Great Brotherton Road, Brotherton at2.04pm yesterday (Sunday)
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire in the open.
Brotherton
“Crews requested an extra two appliances from Selby and Castleford to assist with ten vehicles on fire in woodland.
“Crews extinguished the fire and the incident was left with the police.”
