Appeal for information after electrical cables stolen from Harrogate Hospital

Officers from North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in the Harrogate area.

It happened at Harrogate Hospital over a four day period between Friday July 31 and Monday August 3.

The theft is believed to have occurred during the times of 10pm and 2am, and involved electric cables being stolen.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We believe that the suspects have removed cable from various parts of the hospital and may have used a vehicle to transport the stolen items.

“We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the hospital grounds or any suspicious vehicles in the area during this time.
