Police are urging people who believe their car was damaged to come forward after 10 vehicles were set alight in a North Yorkshire woodland area.
Three fire crews and police were called to the blaze in the village of Brotherton, south of Sherburn in Elmet, shortly after 2pm on Sunday (August 9).
North Yorkshire Police said its investigation into the fire in Old Great Brotherton Road remains ongoing.
A force spokesperson on Monday said “no-one has come forward to report their vehicle as damaged in the fire” and “officers have been unable to identify the owners due to the damage caused to the vehicles”.

They said anyone who believes their car has been damaged and wants to report it to police should contact North Yorkshire Police quoting reference 12260153832.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service on Sunday said its crews extinguished the fire and the incident was left with police.
In a statement, the fire service said: “A crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire in the open.
“Crews requested an extra two appliances from Selby and Castleford to assist with 10 vehicles on fire in woodland.
“Crews extinguished the fire and the incident was left with the police.”
