National Highways Limited intends to make a temporary traffic order for the A1(M) in West Yorkshire.
The slip road closure will affect the northbound exit at Junction 45.
The order, which is due to come into force on August 30, will remain in place as long as necessary to facilitate the event.

However, the closure itself is scheduled from 4am to 6pm on August 31.
Alternative routes will be clearly signposted during this period.
The closure does not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles involved with the event, or for traffic officer duties.
