Women training for a triathlon are invited to a free session at York Sport Village.
The Coached Triathlon Transition Training, open to all levels, is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Organised by triathlon coach Lucy Hurn, the session is aimed at helping participants prepare for the York Triathlon and Leeds Ironman, both taking place the following weekend.
The session will commence with a Q&A about race day, followed by practical transition practice on the track from 7pm to 8pm, and will conclude with more time for questions.
The session is free, thanks to grant funding, and aims to encourage more women, especially beginners and those less active, to enjoy the benefits of triathlon.
Sign-up is essential via the Women in Tri website.
Lucy Hurn, the UK's first Mental Health and Exercise Triathlon Coach, will deliver the training, who is a Level 3 Triathlon Coach with over a decade of experience.
