Police have been called in after another two deliberate fires were started in York.
Fire crews were called to an incident on Tennyson Avenue at9.55pm last night (Saturday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “York and Acomb fire appliances responded to a fire in a rear garden which had spread to a fence.

“Fire extinguished by crews using a hose reel with Police informed and cause determined as deliberate.”
Then, at 4.23am this morning(Sunday), York firefighters were called to a tree on fire on ** Bishopthorpe Road**.
The spokesperson said: “Crews extinguished the fire using two knapsack sprayers. Police were informed as the cause of the fire was believed deliberate.”
