Farmers and firefighters teamed up to tackle a large field fire in Ryedale last night (Saturday).
Crews from Malton, Pickering, Filey and Driffield, and the Kirkbymoorsides Argocat, went to the fire at Duggleby south of Malton at7.52pm.
The fire measured about 150m by 100m.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Farm machinery was used to cut fire breaks around the fire.
“Crews used hose reel jets, knapsack sprayers and beaters to extinguish the fire and put a wet line in to prevent re-ignition of the fire.”
