The A19 south of York is closed by a crash this evening.
It’s between Deighton and Crockey Hill. The road is shut in both directions.
The AA reports: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash on A19 both ways from Naburn Lane to Howden Lane.”

The collision happened at about 4.30pm.
Emergency services are at the scene. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has also gone to the incident.
There are reports that a car and a motorbike were in collision.
