A 13-year-old was assaulted during an altercation with a group of teenagers in North Yorkshire, police have said.
Officers are appealing for information after the incident at the cemetery in Leeds Road, Tadcaster, on Saturday, July 25.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened between 6pm and 7pm and involved a group of teenagers and the 13-year-old victim.
The force urged anyone who saw the incident to get in touch.
“We’re particularly appealing for information from any dog walkers in the area at the time who may have witnessed the assault, or had any interaction with the group,” a police spokesperson said.
