Police investigate arson attack at York allotment

Police are investigating a criminal arson attack at a York allotment.

It happened at Fulford Cross Allotments just before 5.47pm on Thursday 30 July.

North Yorkshire Police say “unknown persons attended this location and set fire to a shed which has also caused damage to some plantation”.

Fire crews from Thirsk, Harrogate and Malton went to the incident and put out the blaze, which measured 15m by 15m.
