A stretch of the A64 is closed this afternoon following a serious crash.
It’s at Barton Hill, between York and Malton.
North Yorkshire Police shared this message at 12.35pm: “We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A64 at Barton Hill.

“The road is closed in both directions while emergency services respond to the incident.
“Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible.”
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has also been called to the scene.
