A MAIN road in North Yorkshire is closed following a serious crash.
Reports are coming in that the A64 is closed in both directions at Barton Hill.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance are at the scene.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A64 at Barton Hill. The road is closed in both directions while emergency services respond to the incident.
"Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible."
