A THIEF has targeted a shop in a popular North Yorkshire venue and made off with a pair of designer sunglasses.
North Yorkshire Police said the theft happened on Wednesday, July 1 at The Motorist in New Lennerton Lane, Sherburn-in-Elmet.
The force released a CCTV image of a man it said it wants to speak, saying he may have information which could help its investigation.
In an appeal to the public, a force spokesperson said: "Please contact us if you recognise the male pictured.
"Email PC1488 Bell via joanne.bell@northyorkshire.police.uk or visit the North Yorkshire Police website and select ‘Tell us about’ before choosing ‘An existing case or report’.
"Please quote reference 12260137413 when providing information."
