Search the Public Notice PortalNorth End, in Seaton Ross, is set for a five-day closure for new water supply works.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced a temporary traffic ban on part of North End, from its junction with West End, stretching northwest for approximately 140 metres.
The closure will start on August 24, 2026 at 8am and is expected to be completed by August 28, 2026 at 5pm.
The works are being carried out to install a new water supply connection.

During the closure, an alternative route is available via various roads, including North End, Church Lane, South End, Southfield Lane, A163 road from Foss Dyke to Major Bridge, A163 Selby Road, A163 High Street, A614 New Road, A614 Market Weighton Road, Harswell Lane, Bull Lane, Southfield Lane, Main Street, Common Lane, Everingham Road, and Mill Lane.
Access will still be granted for residents, emergency vehicles, and pedestrians.
The order will remain in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
