Two boys have been arrested in connection with a suspected motorbike theft.
At about 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday), police responded to reports of two people wearing face coverings while pushing a motorbike on Watson Street, off Holgate Road.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Following a swift search of the area, officers located two suspects and recovered a motorcycle nearby.”

Two 13-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
They have been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
Anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious, or who may have CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact police.
