Calming therapies and wellness sessions brought people together during a special weekend in Old Malton.
The two-day event was held by Manor Park Care Home and included meditation, reiki, sound baths, hypnotherapy, and Indian head massage.
Visitors included members of North Yorkshire Living Well, women from the local MS support service, a care coordinator, and a former manager of a nearby care home who attended with family members.
Laura Clegg, home manager at Manor Park Care Home, said: "We were absolutely delighted with how well the weekend was received.
"It was wonderful to welcome such a wide range of people into the home, from local community groups and healthcare professionals to residents, families and neighbours.
"There was a real sense of calm throughout the weekend, and it was lovely to see people taking time for themselves, trying something new and enjoying each other's company.
"Events like this show that care homes can be vibrant community spaces where people come together, build friendships and support one another's wellbeing."
The weekend was part of Manor Park’s ongoing commitment to supporting the wider community by opening its doors and offering opportunities for connection, relaxation, and improved wellbeing.
Care home residents also joined in the activities and helped create a welcoming atmosphere.
