Man dies after car hit barrier on M180 as police launch appeal
A man died after a car collided with a barrier on the M180 in Doncaster in July, police said.
At 9.57pm on Wednesday July 22, officers received reports of a collision on the M180 westbound at the junction with the M18 roundabout.
It is reported a grey Audi S3 collided with a barrier on the M180, with officers from Humberside Police attending.
The driver, a 36-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the collision, enquiries were conducted and as the investigation progresses, officers are keen to speak to anyone they have not yet spoken to regarding the collision.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision or manner of driving before it.
Anyone who thinks they can help is being urged to report online or call 101, quoting incident number 1057 of July 22 2026.
Due to prior contact with the driver and in line with normal procedure, Humberside Police referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
This has since been returned to their Professional Standards Department.
