A woman has been verbally abused and “shoulder barged” on a coastal path in North Yorkshire, police said.
Officers are appealing for information after the incident in Old Scalby Mills, Scarborough, at about 11.10am on Thursday, June 18.
North Yorkshire Police on Wednesday (August 5) issued the appeal, urging anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
The force said the victim reported that the unknown man verbally abused and “shoulder barged” her because he “did not like the woman walking close to him".
