What is the Public Notice Portal?
The Public Notice Portal carries statutory public notices published in local newspapers and is the fastest and most effective way of finding out what is happening in YOUR neighbourhood.
Search the Public Notice PortalSeveral roads and a public right of way in York are set to close for maintenance and utility works.
The closures are scheduled from August 1 to August 25, affecting various locations including Dunnington, Bishopthorpe, and Copmanthorpe.
In Dunnington, public right of way 14/12/10 will be closed from its junctions with Petercroft Lane and Eastfield Lane for drainage works.
This closure will be in effect from 7.30am to 5pm, from August 1 to August 7.
During this period, an alternative route for pedestrians will be signposted via Kerver Lane, Intake Lane, Horsfield Way, Holly Tree Lane, and Eastfield Lane.
Kerver Lane will also be closed to vehicles between the projected north-western boundary of property No. 59 and a point 28 metres north-west of said boundary.
However, access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
In York, the A19 will be closed from its roundabout-controlled junction with St Nicholas Avenue to the south-western boundary of Church Cottage, York Road, Deighton.
This closure is for highway maintenance works and will be in effect from 8pm to 6am, from August 10 to August 25.
An alternative route will be signposted via the A19, A63, A162, and A64.
Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
In Bishopthorpe, Moor Lane will be closed from its junction with Moor Lane Drive to a point 50 metres north-east for water mains works.
This closure will be in effect from 8am on August 11 to 5pm on August 14.
An alternative route will not be signed, but access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.

Harcourt Close in Bishopthorpe will also be closed for highway maintenance works.
The closure will be between the projected northern boundaries of properties 17 and 19.
This will be in effect from 9.30am to 3.30pm, on August 12 and August 13.
No alternative route will be signed, but access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Leeman Road in York will be closed between its junction with Station Avenue and a point 13 metres north-west for utility installation works.
This closure will be from 8pm on August 12 to 6am on August 24.
An alternative route will be signed via Station Avenue, Station Road, and Station Rise.
Access for pedestrians, cyclists, and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Finally, Wilstrop Farm Road in Copmanthorpe will be closed between the north-western boundaries of properties 1 and 17 for telecoms works.
This closure will be from 9.30am to 3.30pm, on August 13 and August 14.
No alternative route will be signed, but access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
