Firefighters were called to an incident by the river in York last night (Tuesday).
They went to Water End at8.28pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Acomb crews were mobilised to a fire sighted near some trees.

“The crew investigated and confirmed three wooden pallets had been set alight. The crew used a hose reel.”
