A village produce show is returning after 25 years away.
North Duffield's community will see the comeback of the much-loved Produce & Handicraft Show on Saturday, August 29.
The event will be held at North Duffield Village Hall and will feature an array of talents, from gardeners and bakers to crafters and young creators.
The event is being organised by North Duffield & Skipwith Playing Field Association and North Duffield Parish Council.
It will feature more than 70 classes, including home-grown vegetables, flower arrangements, baking, preserves, crafts, and children's creations.
Traditional produce favourites like potatoes, tomatoes, and roses will be on display.
There will also be baking categories, such as Victoria sponge, bread-making, cheesecakes, jams, chutneys, and homemade beverages.
A special celebration cake category, sponsored by Cray Bakes, the heaviest onion, longest runner bean, and the most wonky vegetable classes will add a dash of fun.
Children's categories will include decorated crispy cakes, miniature gardens, illustrated poems, drawings, recycled art projects, and fruit and vegetable animal creations.
The show is open to residents of North Duffield, Skipwith, and Menthorpe, as well as local schools and youth groups.
The event aims to celebrate village life and hopes to become a staple in the community calendar once again.
