A recruitment drive is underway for a brand-new leisure centre in East Riding.
East Riding Leisure Goole is set to reopen to the public, and the council is now hiring for a variety of roles to support the launch.
The roles span management, customer service, fitness, swimming and cleaning, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions.
Councillor Nick Coultish, cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: "The reopening of East Riding Leisure Goole is one of the most eagerly anticipated developments for the town, and this recruitment campaign is a strong indication that we are moving ever closer to welcoming residents through the doors."
Available positions include duty manager, receptionist, cleaner, swimming teacher, lifeguard and group exercise instructor.
Casual roles will also be considered as part of the current phase of recruitment.
Applications are currently being accepted, with closing dates ranging from August 9 to September 6.
This initial recruitment campaign focuses on operational staff, but further roles will be advertised in the coming months to support the centre’s café, soft play and bowling facilities.
These are expected to include catering supervisors, café assistants and dryside attendants.
Full job descriptions and application details are available on the council’s website, www.eastriding.gov.uk/jobs.
