A York bridge was closed this evening due to a police incident.
Ouse Bridge was sealed off behind police tape close to its junction with Micklegate through to Low Ousegate.
It has now reopened.
Police, firefighters and ambulance crews went to the scene.
Some emergency service personnel were on the bridge and some under and alongside it.
The York Rescue Boat team was poised on the water close to Ouse Bridge.
It was believed to be an incident involving a potentially vulnerable person.
