‘Fantastic response’ hailed as ticket sales soar for major dance music event at Great Yorkshire Showground

The final tickets for Symphonic Ibiza have now been released as the countdown begins to one of Harrogate’s biggest summer nights at the Great Yorkshire Showground.

With less than two weeks until the spectacular music event on Saturday, August 15, organisers have released a number of final production holds across General Admission and the covered Grandstand, meaning all remaining ticket availability is now officially on sale.

Demand is continuing in the final run-up to this landmark show, with General Admission and the Pol Roger VIP Garden nearing sell-out, while a number of blocks within the covered Grandstand have virtually sold out.

The open-air show will combine live orchestral performance, iconic singers, a radio DJ legend, Ibiza classics and large-scale concert production in the Main Ring at the Great Yorkshire Showground.

Freddy White, founder of Yorkshire-based Sound & White and lead promoter of Symphonic Ibiza, said: “It’s quite surreal to finally be this close.

"We’ve spent months building the show and seeing the response from Harrogate and across Yorkshire has been fantastic.”

“With General Admission and VIP now getting very close to capacity and several areas of the Grandstand already sold out, we’ve released the final seats and production holds that we’re able to make available.

"So if anyone has been waiting to make their mind up, this really is the point to get booked.”

The evening will begin when gates open at 5.15pm, with Love Island’s Alex Bowen taking to the decks from 5.45pm to warm up the crowd.

At 6.45pm, Vernon Kay will bring his full BBC Radio 2 Dance Sounds of the 90s Live Tour to Harrogate as headline support, with a 90-minute show celebrating the biggest dance records of the decade.

The main Symphonic Ibiza show will begin at 8.30pm, bringing together the acclaimed 40-piece Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra and special guests Heather Small of M People, Rebecca Ferguson MBE and Alison Limerick, whose Where Love Lives remains one of dance music’s most recognisable anthems.

A range of food and drink will be available throughout the site, with ticket holders in General Admission and the Pol Roger VIP Garden also permitted to bring their own picnic chairs and rugs.

Symphonic Ibiza is being delivered by Sound & White in collaboration with the Great Yorkshire Events Centre.
