There was a crash on the A1079 Hull Road coming into York this afternoon (Monday).
It was close to the Grimston Bar roundabout.
Drivers reported slow traffic on the A1079 past Four Lane Ends at lunchtime.

It also had a knock-on effect on the A166 Stamford Bridge road close to the roundabout.
We have no details about the vehicles involved in the crash or any casualties at this stage.
The incident has now been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
