Thousands of people – residents and visitors – flocked to the ancient city to watch an annual tradition dating back to 1108.
This year’s parade, which was led as always by St Wilfrid himself and included an array of community floats making their way along the historic route from Ripon Market Square, was made even more special by taking place on Yorkshire Day.
