A STOLEN motorbike in York has been recovered by police just an hour and a half after being reported missing.
The 125cc red motorcycle was tracked down in Heslington by officers from the force's York north neighbourhood policing team yesterday evening (Sunday, August 2).
Police said there had been numerous sightings of the bike during its searches.
A force spokesperson said: "Officers turned the area into the world's least enjoyable game of hide and seek.
"The motorbike has been reunited with its rightful owner, who is delighted."
