A WOODEN bridge has been deliberately set on fire in a York town.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said its crew from Huntington were called to a wooden bridge on fire in Crooklands Lane, Haxby at 8.14am this morning (August 2).

- Air ambulance called to crash in North Yorkshire road“ Crews extinguished the fire using a knapsack sprayer, and cordoned off the bridge,” said a spokesperson for the service.
They added that the cause was deliberate and police were informed.
