FIRE crews have put out a deliberately started fire in a York town.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said its crew from Huntington were called to a deliberate field fire in Haxby at 5.29pm yesterday (August 1).

“Four seats of fire were located and extinguished. Details of those responsible for starting the fires were passed to the police,” said a spokesperson for the force.
