NFU Mutual has made a second significant donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) Big Air Base Build appeal.
The latest contribution of £7,899 comes from NFU Mutual's Northallerton agency and brings its total support to £15,798.
These funds will help the charity construct its new Northern Air Support Unit, a long-term facility set to enhance emergency response across Yorkshire.
Helen Berriman, corporate fundraising manager at Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: "The Big Air Base Build is the largest fundraising appeal in Yorkshire Air Ambulance's history, and partnerships like this are playing a vital role in helping us bring that vision to life.
"We're incredibly grateful to NFU Mutual for choosing to support the appeal for a second year and for becoming one of our Gold Sponsors."
The donations have been made through NFU Mutual's Agency Giving Fund, a £2.33 million national scheme that allows local agencies to support regional charities.
Michael Hilyer, agent at NFU Mutual, visited the YAA’s Nostell Air Support Unit to see the impact of the charity’s work.
He said: "Supporting the communities we serve is at the heart of what we do, and Yorkshire Air Ambulance plays a vital role in protecting those communities every day."
