Runners across the city are participating in the Jane Tomlinson York 10K.
There were a number of free spaces to runners who pledged to raise £100 or more for York Against Cancer.
The First Female over the line was Hannah Hobbs with 34.56 and the First Male was Samuel Roberts with sub 31 minutes of 30:40.
It’s said to be one of the most beautiful runs in the country, as the route weaves through the historical sights of York. Organisers say it is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to set their next personal best while surrounded by the city’s stunning architecture.
All money raised will go towards York Against Cancer’s efforts to support cancer patients across the region.
