THOUSANDS of runners took to the street in York city centre today as the annual Run For All 10K took place.

More than 10,000 people attended the race at Knavesmire today (August 2) with everyone taking a total of 15 minutes to cross the line after the race started just after 9.30am.

Participants took on a scenic tour of the city, passing notable landmarks such as Clifford's Tower, York Minster, and the medieval walls - all while raising money for a good cause and hoping to get a personal best on the flat track.
