In pictures: All the fun of the fair at North Yorkshire's 116th Osmotherley Show

Crowds were bathed in sunshine for a great day at Osmotherley Show and with a host of classes for its 116th annual event.

There were competitions for flowers, fruit and vegetables, with produce and handicrafts and prizes for children’s classes.

Then there are the livestock classes, cattle and sheep, before rounds with horses and pony, and with a great number of young entrants to try their hand.

This is a traditional rural showcase, celebrating the best of Osmotherley and surrounding areas.

Among the most popular events are a dog show, with sheep dog trials, before an afternoon fell race.
