Live country music bar and line dancing destination Ruby Rae’s has announced when its opening its saloon doors in York.
It was reported earlier this month that the popular ‘Nashville-inspired experience’ will be opening at at 2 Micklegate in York, in what was previously home to cocktail bar Jalou.
And now, Ruby Rae’s have revealed they’ll be opening next Thursday, 6 August.
The venue will then be open every Thursday to Sunday from then on.
The opening times will be 5pm – 1am on Thursdays, 3pm – 3am on Fridays, 12pm – 3am on Saturdays, and 2pm – 12am on Sundays.

Its flagship store opened in Newcastle just over a year ago, and has drawn a huge following since – drawing visitors from the UK, Europe, and as far as the USA.
Ruby Rae’s in York will feature live country music, line dancing, cowboy hats, a Nashville-inspired drinks menu and country music atmosphere.
They shared on social media that they’ve been “absolutely blown away by the reaction to our York launch” and teased further plans.
“ou guys have helped us see how special Ruby Rae’s York can actually be, which has given us the confidence to go above and beyond with our venue plans.”
