Swimming is back on today, along with the centre’s café at York Sport Village in Lakeside Way, Heslington.
It had to close its main and small pool yesterday (July 31) after a burst main had affected its hot water supply.
A spokesperson said: “As pool temperatures will begin to drop, it will no longer be safe for customers to use the pools.”
They said, “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.”
