A tractor and square balers have been destroyed in a fire up on the Ganton/Potter Brompton Wolds. It is a piece of farm machinery that picks up crops from fields and compresses them into neat, square packages.
Three North Yorkshire Fire Rescue Service crews, including Scarborough and local farmers, were putting the fire out around 9 o clock last night, Friday 31st July.
They had to transferring water from a hydrant on the road.
