A bus service has stopped travelling along a York road due to anti-social behaviour.
Recent trouble has seen the number one bus pulled from going down Bramham Road.
Westfield Ward Lib Dems have issued this update: “Sadly the Number 1 bus is not currently coming up to Bramham Road due to antisocial behaviour.

“First Bus staff are saying that they will start coming up in the morning subject to any further issues.”
As “getting up the hill is an issue for residents with mobility issues” Cllr Andrew Waller is “pressing for action to address this issue”.
One resident said: “It’s odd up there. Most of the kids have been very pleasant and polite etc, it’s just these little clusters of them that cause a load of trouble.”
There have been a number of incidents on the street in recent years.
The Costcutter on Bramham Road was daubed with racist graffiti in March 2024.
Last year a man brandished a machete during a fight on the street.
