A long-standing caterer has hung up her apron after decades of Sunday lunches and special events.

Julie Copland, who has catered for corporate events, family parties, and Sunday lunches for about thirty years, served her last lunch at the Ryedale Community and Leisure Centre (RCLC) on Sunday, July 5.

John Harrison, on behalf of RCLC, presented her with a bouquet in appreciation of her services and wished her well in her retirement.

The restaurant, kitchen, and meeting room are available to hire for residents who can make their own arrangements for catering.

Anyone interested in the catering role is encouraged to contact RCLC chairman R King at rayking2402@yahoo.com } for details.
