A North Yorkshire coffee roaster has brewed up national success after winning nine gold stars in the Great Taste Awards.
Rounton Coffee earned the accolades across its range, with two of its coffees receiving two stars each.
The Great Taste Awards are recognised as the sector’s biggest and most trusted accreditation scheme.
Dave Beattie, founder of Rounton Coffee, said: "Rounton Coffee only really started as a reason to share good coffee with what, at the time, was quite a small number of fellow local enthusiasts.
"So, to see stars all over our packaging still feels a bit surreal, but we don't take any of it for granted.
"It still feels so special to be told that other people are impressed by the work done every day by everyone, from our farmers across the coffee belt, to the team here in East Rounton.
"Our team puts incredible care into what they do, and we're fortunate to work with truly outstanding farmers and producers, and without them we would be nothing."
Judges singled out the Daybreak Blend and Bosque Lya coffees for particular praise.
Bosque Lya, grown in the shadow of a 6,000ft volcano in El Salvador, was described by judges as making "the most pleasing, moreish Flat White".
The Daybreak Blend, made using beans from Guatemala and Peru, was noted for its "exceptionally long and very elegant" finish.
The latest recognition follows a year of growth for the East Rounton-based business.
Its subscription service has expanded, and a new wholesale partnership now sees its beans delivered as far as the Outer Hebrides.
Alongside commercial success, the company continues to prioritise social and environmental impact.
One per cent of all sales are donated to projects supporting coffee-growing communities and environmental protection through the 1 per cent for the Planet initiative.
