A Yorkshire museum has raised more than £3,700 for charity through two recent fundraising campaigns.
Eden Camp, a modern history museum based in Malton, raised £2,615 during The Great Tommy Sleepout, a national campaign supporting homeless military veterans.
Members of the museum team, including veterans and supporters, spent the night outdoors to raise funds for Royal British Legion Industries.
Gavin Pickering, Eden Camp veteran and site services team member, said: "Taking part in the Great Tommy Sleepout is something very personal to me.
"As veterans we understand the challenges that can come after leaving the Armed Forces.
"Sleeping out for one night is nothing compared to what some are forced to endure, but if it helps raise awareness and funds to support our fellow veterans, then it is absolutely worth it."
Drive It Day, held on April 26, brought together more than 150 classic vehicles and raised more than £1,100 for the NSPCC’s Childline.
Luke Hudman, Eden Camp’s marketing manager, said: "At Eden Camp, we’re proud of how we’ve brought people together to raise money for two worthwhile causes."
The museum is also taking part in the Great British Summer Savings VAT reduction scheme, offering discounted tickets starting from £14.75 for adults.
