A festive plant-powered celebration is heading to the city this Christmas season.
The York Vegan Christmas Festival returns on Sunday, December 13, 2026, at York RI Sports Centre, promising a packed programme of plant-based food, cruelty-free gifts, talks, workshops and more.
The event, which runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm, will feature more than 80 vegan stalls offering cakes, chocolates, sustainable fashion, skincare and homewares.
Victoria Bryceson, founder of Vegan Events UK, said: "Since 2017 we've been bringing the best of vegan living to communities across the UK.
"Our festivals offer a one-stop destination where you can discover amazing plant-based products, support small family-run businesses and see just how delicious, accessible and varied vegan living can be."
The festival is family-friendly, with free entry for accompanied under-16s.
VIP tickets cost £15 and include fast-track entry and a vegan goody bag, while standard entry is £5.
Featured stalls include Miracle's Mission, a non-profit animal welfare organisation that works with sick, injured and disabled animals worldwide.
Miracle's Mission helps rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need, many with disabilities.
The venue is next to York train station, with nearby parking and public transport connections.
