Two people were trapped in a York garden last night (Thursday).
Firefighters were called to the incident on Osbaldwick Lane at7.07pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Easingwold responded to a report of two persons locked in the garden of a property with no way to get out.

“Crews gained access to the garden using a triple extension ladder and released the two people.”
