Crews were called to a bin lorry on fire in North Yorkshire this morning (Friday).
It happened on Main Street,** Leavening**, near Malton, at** 11.17am**.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Kirkbymoorside and Acomb responded to reports of the rear end of a bin wagon on fire.

“Crews extinguished and dampened down the contents using a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots and the incident was left with the council.”
